Biometric Information Privacy Notice & Retention Schedule
Compliance Notice under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA, 740 ILCS 14/), Texas CUBI (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 503.001), Washington Rev. Code § 19.375, California CPRA, and EU/UK GDPR Article 9.
1. Notice of Biometric Collection
When you upload an image to FaceSwapper, our automated computer vision algorithms temporarily detect and analyze facial landmarks, geometry, and feature embeddings (“Biometric Identifiers” and “Biometric Information”). This processing occurs solely in volatile memory to align, map, and render the face swap you have requested.
2. Specific Purpose of Processing
Biometric data is used exclusively to execute the synthetic image blend in real time. We do not use biometric data to identify unknown individuals, track users across sessions or sites, build persistent identity profiles, or train or improve generalized AI foundation models.
3. Written Release & Depicted Party Consent
Prior to processing, you must provide affirmative written consent via our explicit checkbox. By uploading images, you represent and warrant that you own the photos or have secured legally valid consent from all depicted individuals (or their legal guardians) to collect and process their facial biometric data.
4. Permanent Destruction Schedule
FaceSwapper adheres to a strict zero-retention schedule:
- Facial geometry vectors and temporary image caches are automatically deleted immediately after generating the swap (typically within 10–30 seconds).
- In no scenario is any biometric identifier or biometric information retained on our servers for longer than 24 hours.
- We do not create or maintain any persistent database of biometric templates.
5. No Commercial Sale or Disclosure
We will never sell, lease, trade, rent, or disclose biometric identifiers or biometric information to any commercial data brokers, advertising networks, or unauthorized third parties.

Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the studio—no accounts, no surprise profiles.
- Uploads are processed on secure infrastructure and never used to train models.
- Basic device data (browser, OS, referrer) helps us troubleshoot issues anonymously.
- We don't store names, emails, or payment info—everything stays pseudonymous.

Photo handling

- Generated results stay in your session gallery until you clear them.
